The boys and I have been working with Soles4Souls for a few years now through the Microenterprise program. Now we're participating in a shoe distribution trip with them!
For most of us, we don't think about our shoes, but think about NOT having them. Shoes provide more than just comfort. Shoes protect us from inclement weather and disease. They help people get to work, help children go to school. A pair of shoes can make a dramatic difference in someone's life.
For this trip, we'll be traveling to Guatemala, the largest and most impoverished country in Central America. Even a small donation will help cover the cost.
