My name is Malia Blackmon, I am 18 years old, working part-time at Three Twins Organic Ice Cream, as well as attending the Napa Valley College as a full-time student.
This will hopefully be my second trip traveling with SOLES4SOULS to a different country to distribute shoes to children in need. I still cannot put into words the effect the Dominican Republic had on my heart, soul, and how I shall live my life everyday.
I couldn't be more thankful for that oppurtunity last year and I am willing to do everything I can in this short period of time to raise enough money to attend Honduras this upcoming summer.
I have put off fundraising to focus on the other things in my life but I will not give up now.
