Hey everyone!
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! This past summer, I had the opportunity to travel with Soles 4 Souls to the Dominican Republic and had the experience of a lifetime. I am very excited to be able to participate in another service trip to Honduras in July.
During our time in Honduras, we will be distributing shoes to children and adults while learning more about their culture. The best part of the trip is the ability to serve and wash the feet of each shoe recipient. The joy they have when putting on a fresh pair of Vans or Toms is truly heartwarming. We will also be visiting their micro-enterprises that are designed to create real economic change in developing nations. Shoes and money that you donate are sent to local women to sell in their shops. I'm excited to see how S4S is wearing our poverty, one shoe at a time!
Over the next few months, I ask that you support our trip and mission by praying for our travels, the communities we will be entering, and each shoe recipient. If you are able, I'd greatly appreciate your support financially as my goal is to raise $1,500.
