Help me raise funds to travel to Honduras with Soles4Souls!

This past summer (Dominican Republic) and in 2015 (Haiti) I had the opportunity to go on an unforgettable service trip with the Preds and Soles for Souls. I'm excited to be going again this coming summer (2018) with the Preds to Honduras - July 16-20, 2018. The Preds love partnering with this great organization which is dedicated to fighting the devastating impact of poverty through the distribution of shoes and clothing.

On this trip, we will be given the chance to meet and interact with the children and adults of the communities in Honduras we will visit and immerse ourselves in their culture. The main component of this trip will be distributing shoes to those that otherwise wouldn't have any and washing their feet.

Every trip I've been blessed to be able to take is truly an eye opening and heart warming experience. The people of these countries have hardly anything and yet are so appreciative of anything they receive and freely gave of what they had to my coworkers and myself. They have so much joy in their lives! Seeing the shoes that the children wore (or didn't wear) when they came to see us made my heart break and so appreciative for what I so readily have available to me. The need not only in Haiti, Dominican Republic or Honduras for sturdy and comfortable shoes is great.

I have been fortunate enough to be able to go on this trip each summer thanks to my loving family and am just as excited and eager to go back next summer! I ask for your support prayerfully for the communities that we will visit while we are down there, for our team and our travels and for the relationships that will be built with those while down there. If you are able, I would love your support financially as the trip will cost $2,500 (some of which the generous organization I work for has agreed to cover, therefore I only have to raise $1,500 this year).
